Astrological Readings – Know Your Options

Know your options!

There are 2 different methods used for making astrological forecasts.

The most well known method uses your personal horoscope. The other method uses the horoscope for when you ask the question (see explanation below under ‘The third option’). Both methods use the same basic principles but use different routes to arrive at the conclusions.

A forecast using your personal horoscope is most accurate when you have an accurate birth time. The more accurate your birth time, the more accurate is your forecast. Many people do not know the time of their birth, only the date and place.

If you do not know your birth time you have 3 options:

1.       A personal horoscope reading based on your birth date;

2.       A sun-sign reading which is based on your zodiac (sun) sign; or

3.       An astrological reading based on the time you ask the astrologer your question.

The first option, using your birth date, is very useful because the positions of all the planets (astrologers call all cosmic bodies ‘planets’) are used. However the Moon’s position is rarely accurate and neither are the positions of the planets relative to the horizon. Although about 60% of information contained in an accurate horoscope is lost, you will be amazed by the accuracy of the insights that can be obtained from just the day of your birth.

The second option, which uses your zodiac sun-sign, is more general and apples to everyone born in that sign, no matter what age. Most people are familiar with sun-sign columns in magazines and newspapers. This form of astrology is ridiculed by purists and traditionalists because it is so general.

The third option, which uses the horoscope of the moment in which your question is put to the astrologer, belongs to a unique branch of ancient astrology called ‘horary astrology’. The idea is that when you ask the astrologer a question your energy and intent is reflected in the cosmic patterns existing at that time and place. The resulting horoscope reveals the various influences surrounding that question and the answer to the question.

Recommendations

If you are looking for an accurate reading to cover different aspects of your life over the next 12 months, then I would suggest an astrological reading of your natal horoscope. If you do not have an accurate birth time the first option described above, using your birth date, can produce excellent, but less accurate, results. By the way most hospitals will provide your birth certificate, for a fee.

However if you want a particularly important answered I suggest you go for option 3: an astrological reading based on the time you ask the astrologer your question. This method is fast, efficient and accurate. It is particularly useful when there is something important and significant weighing on your mind. Because astrology covers all aspects of life almost any question can be asked.
